Cubby Mom helps moms build small, local support circles. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete your account.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide while creating and using your account, including:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in provider.
- Profile information, such as bio, occupation, approximate location, interests, values, mom circle goals, zodiac sign, and photos.
- Child-related profile details you choose to add, such as child name, age label, birthdate or due date, gender, and stage. These fields are used to support matching and are optional where shown in the app.
- Discovery and matching activity, such as paws, passes, matches, starter circle status, and circle membership.
- Messages, chat metadata, reports, blocks, and account deletion requests.
- Device and notification information, such as push tokens and notification preferences if you enable notifications.
- Approximate location information used for nearby recommendations. Your exact location is not shown on your profile.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate Cubby Mom, including to:
- Create and manage your account and profile.
- Recommend nearby moms and small mom circles.
- Enable chat, notifications, profile editing, reports, blocking, and account deletion.
- Improve safety, trust, and product quality.
- Respond to support, privacy, and safety requests.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your profile information may be visible to other signed-in Cubby Mom users according to your visibility settings and app features. Reports, blocks, account deletion requests, push tokens, and private safety/admin records are not intended to be publicly visible.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions. We may also use Apple, Google, Vercel, and other infrastructure providers needed to run the app and deliver sign-in, hosting, and notifications.
Your Choices
- You can edit your profile in the app.
- You can disable notifications in the app or through your device settings.
- You can block or report users from chat and safety flows.
- You can request account deletion in the app or by contacting us.
Account Deletion
You can request deletion in the app from Profile settings or by following the instructions on our account deletion page. We may keep limited records when required for safety, legal, fraud prevention, or dispute purposes.
Children
Cubby Mom is for adults. The app may allow moms to add limited child-related details to personalize matching. Children should not create Cubby Mom accounts.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including authentication, access rules, and backend privacy controls. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
